Go to your local car audio store, buy the cheapest speakers, and they'll be better than the bose.

    Or visit your local wrecker.

5 1/4 actually but you can mod them to make 6.5's fit.

You can't use the factory speaker mount though, you've gotta make your own. Just cut a hole in a piece of MDF and you should be good.

That's true. I put Alpine Components in the front. 6 1/2 in the doors & 2" silks in the tweeter pods.

Also put 6 x 9 Boston Acoustics int the rear. Sounds great!

so i just tooak the back seats and rear panel out, and i took the bad speaker out.
what is a decent, cheap speaker for the rear that will work with my stock amp?
and should i replace both rear speakers or just the bad one?

    who cares?

stock amp probably puts out maybe 20 watts per channel.

i dont think im going to look for replacement bose anymore despite the title.
contacting gm for that would probably be a hassle, id rather get higher quality speakers for like 20 bucks

    so would these be good?
