Hey guys, I am new to this forum and am looking into some halo projectors. I also want to look into ordering some HID's but most of them I have found that people recommend are over 100 bucks and only include low beams. Are they worth it? Are just low beams good enough? Does anyone know of some HIGH QUALITY brands that are more reasonably priced? Thanks!

i would have seen that ^^^ before i got mine. HID's are absolutely worth it by the way. the beam goes so much farther down the road. the kit i got was 8000K high beams and halogen low beams. the HID low beams would be nice, but i got a set of 55w fog lights that really make up for how much the low beams suck

a lot of people have projectors, check in the lounge for a review on the spyder's i believe.

i think a lot of people go with Xenon light Hid kit Hid light Hid headlights Bulbs Ballasts Car parts 's HID kits. i just got a cheap $50 ebay set and a $10 harness and i was good to go...i will never have a car without HID's ever again. NEVER (unless they make something better ).

Did you guys go with the HID's with the same factory bulb setup, with a both high and low beam on the same bulb or some other bulb type with only low beams?

It took mine a few days to process too, but they are great quality and life time warranty.

ok maybe i was being extreme about not ordering from them. im just impatient and my relay has already arrived and they still havent processed it. but they are cheap and hopefully good quality. they will fit either factory or projectors, as long as you order the appropriate bulb and only go 35w so you dont melt anything. i just got the low bulbs because i never use my high beams.

did you get your HID's in yet? I just ordered 35w 5000k duals from them. The lady said that the duals inlcude the upgrade harness.

What is the upgrade harness? And are you talking about duals being two sets or just high/low bulbs?

duals are HID Hi and Low beams vs just HID low and halogen Hi.

the upgraded harness has a relay so you can connect to the battery and not fry the stock wiring or not have the lights come on, or "blink"

ok, a full 2 weeks later i finally received them in the mail. it was pretty confusing, and there was a point where i was just yelling "what the F*&%!" its mostly because where the old bulb connects to the new harness, they dont have it plugged in. like they just give you 2 wires and a connector thing so i just had to guess to figure it out. i havent really tried them out at night yet because its not dark, but ill post later.
