I got that Metra GMOS-01 so i could put my stereo in my 04 gp. It worked like a charm for about 3 months until one day my subs did not work and i noticed that the feature that allows your radio to stay on with the keys out of the car before you exit the vehicle was not working and that the chimes had stopped working also. About a week ago im pretty sure i blew one of my subs or amp ( smoke in the trunk, bad smell, clipping and protect light flashing on amp, etc.) but i cannot tell because the harness is keeping my amp from turning on in general. Ive had this problem once before where the subs would not work (but were not blown or anything) but i unplugged the pin out of the metra box and plugged it back in and everything worked fine and i got all my settings back to normal. Now my car keeps acting funny by dying randomly and im pretty sure my security system does not work. Im not sure if this could be related to the harness at all but after my car died one of the times i put it in drive and it kept constantly throttling by itself with my foot dead on the brake. Im getting very tired of this problem and not being able to have my subs going and i would like to know if this even is occuring because of my wiring harness. Ive been looking at the PAC C2R-GM24 to replace it but im not sure yet but when buying a new harness with quality what do you guys recommend?
