Okie Dokie peeps! Well I've really enjoyed my Delphi stock cassette/equalizer head unit on my 98 GTP. It has really treated me well the the past years.

But all good things must come to an end, and I think it's time for a change..

These are listed in order of what is most important to least important:

First off, my budget is ~$500

Secondly, I want my steering wheel controls to remain functional

Third, I would like to keep the stock 12 disc changer if possible.

Fourth, I'd like to have DVD functionality with this head unit with a half decent sized screen.

Fifth, it needs to be red/orange backround lighting ,no blue!!!

Sixth, I'd like to have the car XM compatible.

I'm not scared to go with a refurb or older unit if it will get me more bang for my buck.

    So any suggestions????
    For all your 3800 needs:

Steering wheel controls is easy. I got my interface for $42 off eBay and it works just fine with my Sony deck.

The unit I needed for my deck was called a PAC-SWIPS interface. They're all over the place.
I was shopping on crutchfield.com and they have an instant customer service chat. You give them your exact vehicle and model number for your deck and then can tell you exactly what you need. I was going to buy it from them but by chance found it for have the price on eBay. At least they were helpful! haha!
