I am wondering how you remove the rear seats in a 2005 grand prix.

Below the rear seats there are two pull tabs, one on each side. If you pull these the seat will pop up and you just pull the rear seat out. I had trouble with this in my car and had to pry it out. It all worked out in the end. If you are looking to remove the rest of the seats then there will be bolts that hold the upper portion of the rear seats in place. You will also have to unbolt the seat belts. I had to do this in order to replace my rear speakers. All in all its very easy just takes a bit of time. Good Luck!
The two pull tabs are located dead center under each side passenger cushion. What you need to do is push down on the cushion, then pull the tab straight out at the same time. If you don’t push the cushion down the tab is very hard to release.
what do you do when you break the pull tab handle?
