I've got a '97 GT coupe w/ all the fixins and just replaced the factory speakers (8 total) with BAs because they were blown. Once I got everything wrapped-up, I found that the 6x9s were not working in the rear deck. Put the old back in and no dice. I'm guessing the factory Delco Amp has gone bad. Has anyone else had this happen? I'd like to keep it simple and cheap and only replace the factory stuff (amp & wires if I have to) instead of buying after-market. Are the Delco amps still avail?

Ok, thanks. I hate to sound stupid, but how do I check the wiring? Sounds laborous. I'm guessing you can't just check the harness for power.

just make sure all your connection are making good contact and that all positive and negative wires are correct on the rear speakers. and that the harness on the amp isnt screwed up
