I just got my L.E.D. black tail lights eagle eyes model and they looked good before i put them on but after installing them and running to advanced auto, which is only a mile away, they fogged up. My question is has anyone had this happen before or if there is a way to fix it? Or should i just send them back because I have a 30 day warranty. They are for the 04 and up models. Any help would be appreciated.

The moisture will go away on its own but you could always reseal them with silicone. Resealing is a common fix for those with aftermarket headlights or corners that leak and fog. Be sure to dry out any moisture before you seal them up.

They should vent but the obvious reason why they get that much water in them is they were sealed with silicone. Silicone is not really the correct sealant to use on lenses as when it dries and over time it shrinks and lets water in. Why use it? Its cheap. China crap. The factory oem lights are flawed because they use a glue that is not flexible either.

So maybe kitchen and bath caulking would work better?

I'll prolly send them back if the moister isn't gone by morning. but the strange thing is there was no water even near it when I installed. it rained the night before but the car wasn't wet as you can tell from the dirt all over the trunk.
