Picked up 04 prix. Wanting to put in and indash gps and head rest dvd. Now indash gps is pretty straight forward just need to make sure it is a double din and not one of those din and half things.

When installing the headrest dvd i need three two power sources one for constant power (for the memory) then i second voltage site to power the unit. Tap into the auxilary unit power supply for constant power. what is the suggestions for the constant power supply. I am not sure if you guys have suggestions based on past experiences and what wires tend to over load easily and blow fuses.

    thanks

I'm not really a fan of your install but to help...

Try tapping into the RAP module for the moon roof if you have one. I think there's another module in the rear, don't remember what for...otherwise, run wires from the RAP module you'll use on your H/U. You can even install toggle switches using 12v-always on or run wires back to your box. Have heated seats?...they probably have one too.

Was going to bring the wires from the head rest down to the front and go directly into the fuse with a fuse tap. At the same time i was going to run the rca cables to the stereo.

My understanding about the car so far is that it is infact a 2 din stereo with a small insert that will be needed.

I use the set up due to the amount of my travel and my son getting very bored of the drive.
