So i got a second hand alpine cva-1004 for cheap. I got everything wired up perfectly then decided to add the bypass module to watch movies when I am driving. Upon doing this i forgot to insulate a +12v wire and POP everything shuts off when i went to put it back into the dash (it grounded out). I have checked all my fuses..there good. The thing is the seperate CD player still working off the same power so I know the Deck is getting a signal. I have checked the basics and all i can think is the worst.. I broke the deck. Would it be usefull to take it apart and look inside the head unit? Any input would be just great thanks

Tha module was unneeded...all you have to do is ground tha green wire.

Look for a reset on tha deck

i looked but cannot find the one that would be connected to the red 12v switched wire. This is what i need to repair any ideas where this fuse would be?

Or is there another way i can get a 12v wire that comes on with the igntion through the fuse box or something?
