No air bag in mine. Yes, you have to remove your back seats, the pillar covers, and then the rear deck cover. I replaced my 6x9s last summer, have fun.

Well, I’m not into the whole high end audio scene. I just went to the store and bought the speakers I thought sounded the best.
I settled on some Kenwood 6x9 4-way speakers. I am more than happy with them, huge improvement over stock. To be honest, any speaker would probably be an improvement. The stock speakers are so cheap, I was actually shocked when I saw them.

How is that a real surprise?

I'll bet your replacements still have a cheap spider.
