Hey guys, Does anyone have any links or tips on how to add a powered sub to the Bose stereo system? Is it even possible? I have heard the Bose systems are a pain to add things to.

I have an Alpine powered sub from my truck that I would like to put to use. I would like to scrap the Bose and start over, just can't afford to yet, so the next best thing is to add the powered sub for awile.

    Thanks guys!

All you are going to want to do is, grab a line output converter and hook it up to your back speakers. Then for a remote wire your going to want to tap into the pink wire i think, the romote turn on for the bose amp.

Hey Whiney, do you know of a good line outpput converter for this application? I have located a few but don't know which one I should go with, like a 2 channel or 4 channel.

Also, where can I find the schematics on which speaker wires are the +'s and -'s. I have an 02 GTP Bose system.

    Thanks man.

If i were to do that again, that is what i would use. Then you have a 4 channel output if you need it, no splicing wires and you also have a remote turn-on for your amp.
