    Pioneer DEP5000U

Decent, plays ipod, scrolls slow as **** though. Has enough crossover settings and proper fade and balance. Nothing fancy, but still has 3 RCA ouputs.

And the same brands that were good then are still good now so find one that has the features you need from a brand you trust.

I had a kenwood excelon, that was pretty nice, but now i have a pioneer deh-p5100ub. I like the simple sleek design of it, along with the blue display. It has dual usb, 3 outputs, bluetooth, and is xm, hd, sirus ready(under $200). Those were ones i rocked this year.

I have the Pioneer 6000 myself. It has a few bells and whistles over the 5000, and it was not that much more in cost really. If you want Pioneer's better brand look at the Premier line of HU's they sell.

Either way, you really can't wrong
