I bought new front speakers for my 99 GTP and when I took the old blown speakers out I noticed there is a plug in terminal on the old set of speakers and seperate black and red wires soughtered onto it. The new speakers only have the clips where the new red and black wires go on...Do I just take the clip off the other set of wires and wire them in with the new clip with the other wires? Anyone have advise? Thanks

If you want the stock tweeters to still work, disconnect the wires from the plug and connect the positives to the positive on your new speaker and same with the negative.

If I understand you correctly, simple answer would be "yes".

    Normal meaning spade terminal?

Or something more "heavy duty" like a spring-loaded terminal?
