    Yes because the tweeter connection is at the speaker. So as long as the left and right speaker is wired to the head unit, the tweeters should work.

    Correct me if im wrong.

    ^ ur right. changing the headunit wil have no affect on the functionality of the speakers as long as u hook it up right.

    As long as you don't have an external amp in your stock system. Do you have a Bose system? Also what year is it?

    They will still work with the bose. Run the remote turn on to the pink wire IIRC on the bose harness. Don't buy the $120 harness.

    How would you send a signal to the bose amp? Does it accept speaker level?

    well the tweeters would still work if you put in two way speakers or just replace the stock tweeters with the after market components. i did the latter

    You'd have to cut the wire in order to get it to attach because the OE's have their own special connectors on them.

    Also, you might wanna just get a decent pair of component speakers. They'd sound better. If not, and you dont wanna crank it too much, wire it the way it was stock. If you wanna crank it, wire the tweeter and the new mid in series.
