The audio control buttons on the LH side of my steering wheel went dark. Guess I have a light out. Best way to go about fixing that?

I have the write up bookmarked on my home computer. I will post it when I get home. You have to open the switch and solder in a replacement bulb. You can get the replacement bulb at Radio shack. Or you can go on ZZP's site and look for the LED replacement controls.

I found a write up on ClubGP (can I say that here?)

    ClubGP:

I bought a set off a member here, but went to put it in and that one is burned out also. Thinking of stopping by radio shack and try to get a replacement..

    Good Luck...

lol you guessed it...but you need a special tool down under the console to finally release it...when I was running my hot wire from my battery to the trunk under the carpet, I had to cut a small hole to run it under the carpet cause I couldnt get the whole center out...but you can never tell unless you took the side plastic off

I been wanting to change my gear LED's but there's a certain tool you need...unless there's a way to release that particular part...

yeah, i have no idea what kind of tool I need for that center console, but I tried with a flat-head, nothing....some how it releases it...but If i could ever get it ou, I could replace my LED's....until then, its Black-out shifter!!! good thing my DIC tells me what gear i'm in lol
