When we got the car the two RKE fobs did not work... first we assume it was the bat. in the fob so we replaced them...nothing.
Then I tried to reset it as per the instructions here:

My problem is when I get to step 4.a. I don't hear 1 chime i hear a series like its spitting out an error code (ie. 1chime then two, then three, five, etc.).
I'm ass-u-me-ing that the receiver end is pooched.
I've looked high and low for the unit (in the car)... can someone tell me where the receiver for the RKE is located in the car and are they easy to replace or is it a stealership thing?
And where can I find a replacement unit.
As a side note (dont know if it makes a differance) the little red light in the middle of the dash flashes when the doors are open but I do not think the auto arm is working as the LED is not flashing after exiting and locking the doors manualy.
