    Is the only possible fix to get a new cluster? The check engine light does not come on when you turn the key.. or start it..

    Try changing the light bulb behind where the display is on the dash.

    is it soldered in? I was able to pull a code DTC P0650 Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) control circuit.. could that be because of a bad bulb?

    Nope you just grab the plastic ''knob'' and twist. Then replace the buld. Yes that sounds like the problem for that code that was stored.

    thanks man, i'm totally new to these cars so I have a lot to find out.. i do like to post the solution.. that sounds like it should be it, just a dead bulb.. so i'll be back to say if that worked or not (replacing the bulb).. at least I found why my air pump wasn't working.. blown fuse! hah

    fixed.. just a blown bulb.. onto the next thing.

    yeah hopefully i dont run into too many problems.. seems like everybody that owns one loves it.

    very true ^^, just hit 203k miles with no problems yet
