What in you guys opinions are the best inexpensive tweeters that can be put in the sail panel on the front door without too much trouble..I put in a set of Boss to go with my 5.25 Pioneers in the front, and altho they did help to pull the sound up somewhat, they are horribly bright......Would like something in the $30 to $55 range, or am I dreaming??? Can run them on the head unit ( Sony 57UP) or can amp them active, or passive....I have had many systems, but never any good tweeters, so I dont know a lot about what sounds good tweeter wise...Thanks..

Got some great sound out of some infinity tweeters I found at the junkyard. They had active crossover and sound great paired with my 6.25" pioneers. Still have the bose amp and it sounds better than some aftermarket installs I've done with professional amps.

I just disconnected those tweets and went with a 6 1/2" door speaker when I upgraded. Don't miss them one bit with the new speakers. Everything in my GP is now aftermarket driven by a 4x100 amp and is plenty loud when I want it to be, even without a sub.

Had it like this for a while too! I'm weird and like how the soundscape sounds with the tweeters up higher.
