    I hope this is the right place to post this

    A few months ago, I started having issues with my turn signal stalk. Every time I went to take a right turn my high-beams would flash. So, this week
    I decided to replace the turn signal stalk. I ended up going to the salvage yard and buying another one 2nd hand from an '06. Anyways,
    I installed the new one and everything else works great besides the fact now at night the high-beams won't go off...What's weird is when I hit
    my right blinker, the high-beams remain on but, if I turn my left blinker on, the high-beams shut off.

    There can only be a handful of reasons why this is happening. I've narrowed it down to

    1. It's a faulty turn signal stalk
    2. A relay or fuse burnt out

    If you have any solutions to this problem, I'd like to hear.

    anything else not working right? like the heat /ac fan, or the parking lights? if so id lean towards the ignition harness.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    According to the wiring diagrams, the only thing that controls the high beams at all is the stalk. It doesn't even go through a relay at all. However, it is negative switch, so if the wire is grounding, it could turn the high beam on. From the description however, I would place my money on the stalk unfortunately.

    @Scottydogs
    I checked the A/C fan and the parking lamps. They are working as normal.

    @Wstefan20
    I'm leaning more towards this. I'm going to buy another one but, this time online and foot the bill. Hopefully it resolves it.

    I'll post the results when the part comes in.

    So, I received the new headlight stalk in the mail the other day. I recently installed it on Monday and
    to my surprise everything is working as it should now! There is no more issues with the high-beams
    being stuck "on" at night now.

    Pretty simple fix for the most part.
