You see knowledgeable enough so I have faith in your decisions. Subs add a great depth to lows and mids. If you haven't yet, look into component speakers, I thought coaxial were good enough, and then I tried component with an external crossover and given the choice, I don't plan on going back.
Yes, I am not new to the audio game, but not a hardcore audiophile by any means. I have always built and installed my own systems; nothing crazy, but better than stock. Built a killer center console/sub enclosure for my Bronco back in the day.
I just put some new mid's in the front doors, and then the rear 6x9's. The stock tweeters are now on my hit list as the one's I got with the mids were damaged and didn't get installed.

Ah, memories. Some friends and I built a box for two 12's and two 15's that filled the back of a full size Blazer.
Later I bought a pair of Cerwin 12 house speakers and a Crown XLS202. Both we're probably bad decisions. Lol
Sry to get off track.

Nice. I never got into that many subs, but had friends that did. One buddy had 4 15's in a Chevette and he bounced coins on the roof. LOL

No worries. Always fun to talk stereo talk. :th_thumb-up:
