I posted about a portion of this problem back in August and after not really getting any info I just gave up on it. However, it's gotten worse and I really need your help. When I posted in August, I was having problems with the DIC but like I said I decided to live with it since nothing I did seemed to make a difference. Now not only does the DIC not work but noew the Heater Control is going bonkers. I have replaced it but there's no change. No matter what controller is in, if you push the rear defrost button everything on the controller starts flashing. Sometimes everything will start flashing just for the heck of it without touching anything. when that happens, it stops working. It doesn't matter if the AC is running or if the heater is running. Sometines I can turn the cr off and it will reset and other times it will just reset itself and other times it will keep flashing. As far as the DIC goes, it will light up sometimes but it usually does nothing. Are these units somehow connected and if so does anybody have wiring diagrams for them?

Just thought of something else. I had the car off the road for several months due to bad upper and lower intake gaskets and head gaskets and lack of time to do the repairs. After I finally got it back on the road, I was having problems with the ignition switch. I replaced it for the second time with one from PicnnPull and it starts and runs fine. However, ever since I replaced the switch, I've had problems with the DIC and recently the Dual Climate Control. Is there a chance that the ignition switch could be causing the problem even though the car starts and runs fine?
