    Hey all,

My girlfriend and I both have GP's (she has an 06 and I have an 04). I have an aftermarket stereo so I have my Monsoon stereo sitting in a closet.

My question is, my gf's display stopped working on her standard radio. can i swap out her stereo with my monsoon stereo? is it just plug and play? or are the connections different?

I am hoping they are plug and play because i dont want to tear hers apart just to change the LED lol.

    Thanks!

not gonna work, your fixing the light in her radio. the how to's makes it look pretty easy really.

Try it first. It's only 8 screws and a connector. If the monsoon radio doesn't detect the amp it reverts to "Bose" mode and should work in a non monsoon vehicle.

You will have to have the radio programmed for the new car in either case. It has to be programmed with a Tech 2 tool. This service is provided at your local dealership for a cost of course @$100.
