    So my factory 2005 Monsoon 6-disc/XM radio now sometimes turns on and says "MONSOON" and all is good, but sometimes it turns on and says "BOSE" and I get no sound from any source.

    It's getting pulled out probably tomorrow, but what is up with that???

    Remote wire for the Monsoon amp was shorting to ground. No amp, radio defaults to Bose.

    See? I was right. Amp wiring shorting could only happen in a GP lol

    Or by some idiot that tapped into the Monsoon amp remote wire to turn on the subwoofer amp and then forgot to tape it off when the amp was removed
