Stocks are pretty bad in these cars TBH. I used Alpine type S front and rear and it was perfect for what I needed. Hell I kept the rears and am using them in the GXP until I can get something better. If you don't plan on using an amp, a good set of rear 6x9 should cost you 115-140ish.
The HUmounts don't cover '04-'08 qq

I went all alpine on the '99, type S front and rear with an alpine deck. I listen to mostly EDM and Rap with some Metal mixed in and I never needed subs.

I think I will see how the tweeters do. No problems thus far. The rears seem ok too, but the ones in the door near the bottom are sounding rough, especially with bass. I'm a huge Beastie Boys fan and Paul's Boutique is just ruined with those speakers.Quote:

04 is double din. Much more of a standard size and thus more options. There is actually enough room to add a shelf for example.
