you would need a 58x to 24xconversion moulde from linglenfelter for the crank sensor and same deal with the cam pick up sensor. unless you physically swap cam gear and crank shaft. otherwise its striaght forward

Possaibly could do that.. I was just wondering about the swap. The bone yard I go to. Did have a smashed gxp there. Hard front hit. Not sure if its still there yet. Also I could get it cheap.

Too much work to make an 05-06 work. Ideally you'd need to do what I did in my 06 Trailblazer and my LS3 engine which is remove the crank, have the engine shop press off the old crank reluctor wheel, buy the alignment tool from I forget where for $100, press on the 07+ reluctor wheel, and reinstall the crank. Then you need to swap the cam gear to the 4x pickup. If you have two engines, just have the one engine rebuilt, is my advice

Definitely stay away from the Lingenfelter conversion box. Those things are junk...ask me how I know...

LOL, I found one for 650. With 129,000 on it. Thinking of grabing that. Then maybe get one of the junk ones built.
