I had a custom exhaust on my gxp and loved the sound but the drone was getting to me. I got a good deal on a full magnaflow catback exhaust. Honestly it's the best investment I could've done. I feel I got some power back and best of all my drone is gone. I'm thinking of adding a ZZP catted downpipe just for a little bit more flow since I've read the original is a bit restrictive. Any of you guys used this before and how do you think it would affect my exhaust sound and drone ? Thanks for any input.

GXP headers cost alot for a non china made set.

And hs sig says he has a tune already, wouldnt take but 3 clicks of the mouse to shut off the rear o2 code in the PCM.

I didn't see that it was a GXP. That's what happens when you're tired and just skim through someone's post lol.

    Do headers anyways

Correct I have a tune so I would have that turned off. So how did you like yours ? What was the sound difference and any performance gains ?

I would do headers but it's my daily driver and I feel that it might also get to me after a while

Doubt you will have a code. The downpipe is a nice addition and helps to fight kr. Expect a slight off the line "tourqe" feel but you'll feel it above 2000 rpm.

    I have a ZZP 3" catted downpipe and haven't thrown a code.

Even before my car was tuned.

I'll still be using the cat and the back half of the downpipe when I have my headers installed too. It'll be fine. Downpipe install was simple too.
