Probly not the right place for this but I wanted it in a ls4 section

So I went to the local track last night, posted some times that I thought were a little weak. It was obvious I need a little practice launching but I will say conditions at the track were not the greastest, so im going to give a bit of info so mabey you guys can help me get a few tenths,

2006 gxp its pretty stock, the only thing ive changed so far would be the spark plugs, The front tires on it are new when I bought it in mid feb and they are Hercules RAPTIS WR1 255/45/18. http://www.herculestire.com/results....255&ar=45&d=18 They dont seem to bite well and they average around 110$ a corner which might reflect their performance. I Had them at 32psi.

I did buy a diablosport intune programmer and loaded the 91octane tune and I had to change the injector slope curve cause the fuel trims were way off. I know canned tunes suck and I feel the only thing the tune really did was increase the shift point to 6k and turn off dod, No performance gain at all IMHO. The trans tune shift pressure was good , I picked firm, Could try hard shift I guess but I think its fine at firm. All torque management left alone.

I didn't scan for Kr which I know I should have but I didn't really see any when I was scanning after I put the tune in. But next time I will just to know instead of assumeing. I feel I may need to change my motor mounts as It feels like the axles rattle at the 1-2 shift.

Now im at 2200 feet and track temps were only at 40F and a bit of wind gusting to 40km/h, Now the car is probly on par for stock but I do feel its a little slow.

    60' 2.173
    330' 6.140
    1/8 9.449
    mph 74.27
    1000' 12.295
    1/4 14.693
    mph 93.52

Now most my 60' times were 2.3 / 2.4, as I was getting a bit of wheel hop and the pcm would pull timeing, So I know I need a bit of practice in regard to launching. When I did a elevation correction on that time It changed to 14.31 (not trying to justify)

So im just wondering if this is on par for a stock gxp, ive only had the car since mid feb and the roads have just cleared up so I haven't really fully learned the car yet. Also I do understand this is a 8 year old car with 137k kms on it

That altitude hurts, a lot. I haven't picked up my GXP yet(Saturday) but I can only imagine how hard it is to launch of a powerful FWD car.
