To me it'll just be for looks, and I'm not sure it will clear everything in the GXP engine bay. I know a guy on here had to cut and reweld one to make it work.

Well that just sucks. I even went on to BMRs website and they have them there as well. It says that it will fit on both sites so I dont know. Guess we will see.

For the GXP the Wbody STB won't work for the fronts without modification.. You have to cut and reweld it a bit so it can clear the alternator.

Ok..so the website (BMR) says that it will fit the W body but arent specific on model. But I do see what you are talking about. I will have to check out the other company.

No other company makes STB's that directly fit the fronts of LS4 equpied vehicles, without modification. due to our alternator being ridicoulously high up it makes it a challenge but plenty doable by either bending and extending ones that are currently on the market.

heres my otto STB modded to fit, a damn tight fit but everything works in harmony

Mime is a Otto racing bar...limited production and only for the 3800. I don't like the gm brace with don ROM brackets. I think its dumb bolting a steel bar to an aluminum bracket. And at the angle its at, It cant provide much if any bracing.
