I had these codes the other day after I cleared out my p0420 code. I did the Defouler method and cleared the code. I smelled fuel and the car ran sluggish and had a bad idle. Also it shifted really hard in gears. I am taking the car back to the shop when I have the $$ for the deductible for my warranty but was curious if maybe it's a quick fix. I just got the car outta the shop for the $2500 in suspension parts that warranty covered and I'm getting sick of this crap. Any help is appreciated. I use a scan tool program on my laptop btw. Since this issue I unplugged the battery for an hour and haven't driven it since I reconnected but the check engine didn't come on yet.
    Thanks

If I'm understanding right your iat and injector 8 are both no-go right now? My first thought is what the **** happened to your wiring harness for that to happen ? Go very carefully and make sire your various connectors up top are on tight and wires fully seated.

Possible have you checked you're maf as well. Remmbe you should probably take off the connected make sure wires are FULLY seated inside an then reconnect.

The check engine light came back on after I started it. It seems like it's an immediate issue and not one that cycles. Smells like fuel. When I reattached my maf 300 miles ago it seemed fine. I have a feeling it's an I injector

Car dropped off yesterday. Hopefully doesn't take long to figure out and it's covered under warranty

Apparently my intake vibrated against the wires that were under the airbox causing the car to ground and dump fuel. Also could have been causing flashing cel. The maf sensor was also bad telling the car it was 300 degrees out. And a bad front dog bone. Abs module being replaced with a new one too.

Na had an eBay one. They shortened it a little for me too. All but the wiring was covered. Apparently no wires are covered under my warranty. Hopefully I get the car back tomorrow.

Apparently both front motor mounts were bad and replaced. It drives great now with no lights on. Hope it stays like that.
