lmao no ls4 =[ lol
I hate to ask a serious question :-), but I just bought 07 GXP on Friday (5/3). Over the last 10+ years I have had 2 2002 grand prix with 250,000+, 1999 that my daughter drove that was 150,000+, and the one that is being handed down from my wife, with 160,000. This is my first GXP, so I was doing some web research. Looking though this thread, talking about the LS4. Reading the Pontiac Grand Prix Wikipedia "Pontiac Grand Prix - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" , it said the LS4 is the 5.3 with "Displacement on Demand". It also said that "Displacement on Demand" was changed in 07 to "active fuel management", but it did not call it a LS4. So my question, is any 5.3 a LS4? If not how do you know if you have an LS4?
I guess the real important question, did I make the list? :-)
If you have a fwd gm car with a v8 and a grand Prix Monte Carlo or impala ss its a ls4 active fuel managment and active fuel management are the same thing .
Gxp's are growing...everybody's buying them!!! Welcome 1 welcome all!!! BTW guy who just bought 1 up there...how many miles? Any modifications done to it ie transcoolee shift kit rebuilt tranny
@marines let's sew if we can put together a 10 commandments sorta thing for Gxp guys lol
