Too bad there are no supercharged options.

    Turbo or nitrous.

    Heads/cam.

    Get at it.

i think the main problem on supercharging them is the dod. which from what ive heard isnt the hardest thing to get around. but its an LS engine, the only thing holding it back from being like the rwd cars is the crank is 13mm shorter. so any blower i would have to say that fits another ls engine will go on the transverse ls4...but that being said about the crank being shorter means the crank pulley is different which may make it tough for the snout/belt setup lining up correctly. thats all the trouble i would think right there

    Maggy on a LS4?

Cut into the strut tower...I'm sure it'll work.

im about to say screw it. spend 600 buck on a ebay turbo kit get a better turbo for like 200, and call it a day. i dont want to spend almost 5-6k on a turbo set-up. because that means i will have to do a tranny upgraded internals. and i dont know how much that would cost. so i do not know lol

you just about have to upgrade tranny parts stock...your not going to go turbo for 600 dollars...unless you have extremely good resources and can weld all the hot side parts yourself. even then, anymore power and that tranny is going bye bye on your ass

    Triple Edge Transmission...$2,500~

    Cartuning Turbo Kit...$4k~

For 6500 bones and if you play your cards right you can have a RWD Fox or LSx car running well into the 9's or 10's.

FWD is lame, and it shows especially in the LS4 cars...the aftermarket is sketchy...and to make the power you want, the LS4 is just a PITA.

Don't have to. I've seen them go out from being babied as well. These trannies are sketchy with even a v6... let alone a v8.

Because I've been in the GP game for six years and trying to put that kind of power down on a FWD car and make the transmission hold up is going to be expensive.

I'm not trying to negative. I'm trying to save you time and money. You can only have 2 out of the three...fast, cheap, reliable.
