cause not too many people make anything for it. i haz a sad nao

I see CAI makes a CAI (dur) and doug thorley makes headers. magnaflow makes a catback but i see conflicting info on fitment. my GXP is an 08 for reference. I know many places can do up a tune though im partial to overkill for such simple mods.

    other than that...wtf man...

    Typical V8 car.

    Needs heads

    Needs cam

    Needs FAST intake/TB setup

    Needs headers

    Needs built trans

Needs a tune with a 150 shot and slicks.

Then, enjoy getting groceries with probably an 11 second car.

To go with what Blue just said, youtube can help you find which parts perform better. There are also LS4 Forums that a lot of GXP guys are on. Here's a big one I know of for reference LS4 Performance - LS1TECH

I always wondered why people only swapped LS6 intakes onto those things, not FAST intakes.

i was just shocked to see not many places making much of anything for it. I'm gonna stop after exhaust, CAI and tune so i can get all that i need but christ...this is a disappointment...almost like shopping for parts for a northstar!

Most any LS based parts will work on it from what I've heard...unless I'm wrong............which is more than likely...

Yeah when I looked into putting a blower on one, the dod came up as the Achilles heal for the setup

i've seen the LS6 intake seems to be a better swap when coupled with the LS6 rail/injectors. That is way far fetched though. This car still has some factory warranty IIRC so nothing big. After what i went through with the PAU i don't wanna tear into the motor of my DD ever again...but better sound and a mild performance increase would be nice.

The GXP doesn't have much in the way of bolt-ons, other than the cartuning kit. The kit, a built trans, and some slicks will put you in the low 12s. I'm a set of slicks away from a high 12 with the mods in my sig. Nothing really bolted on to my car, but it's really not hard to modify this engine.
