    Having a problem...

Hear squealing in front of vehicle, driver side.

Happens after I let off of gas and cruise down the road. Kicker is that it only happens while I'm in manual/tap shift mode....when I pit it right back into drive while it's happening noise goes away.

    Any ideas?

^^ should say it's more of a whine than a squeal...could this possibly be the alternator?

Driver's side has transmission on it.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

I'd be contacting Dave at TEP and asking if there's a channeling or something that could cause this in the trans.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    This.

With the same transmission as the 3800 Supercharged engines...and 40 more ft. lbs. of rated TQ and over 60 more HP...it's a wonder why they didn't upgrade it at all.

Most tend to let go anywhere from the 80-100k mark it seems...or sooner if they are beat on.

Brought to a guy I know and trust.

Mechanic for over 30 years and runs a transmission shop...had him drive it around for a few minutes.

He was stumped to what it was...getting frustrating.
