    Thinkin about removing the mufflers on the GXP. Lookin for advice and opinions. Probably just gonna straightpipe it, but would like to hear some other ideas. Let me know what everyone thinks, thanks.

    borlas. lol. i wouldnt straight pipe these cars...

    nvm you have a gxp. it might be a bit too loud if you straight pipe it, so i still say borlas.

    I merged your threads.

    Don't double post just to get answers quicker...it really doesn't work.

    Also...deleting the mufflers will do nothing but drone and you'll want to rip your hair out.

    Get catless headers and a nice catback like a Borla/Corsa/SLP system...Magnaflow's is quiet and sounds poopy IMO.

    i actually just cut my mufflers and cat out. extended the tips 2 inched to make it more flush. the drone is rediculous but the exhaust sounds nasty. dod is very noticeable. im going to tune the dod out. despite all the bad things, it only cost me 40 bucks to do, sounds awesome when on the gas, and i get a ****load of compliments on it. in this vid i had not tuned the cat out yet.

    For me dod is tuned out, i have a nice quiet exhaust with a cutout b4 the CAT, the cutout is manual right now but im going to make it electric with a switch the sounds is amazing, why cut ur mifflers off??, pit a cutout in before the cat thatway ur mifferls are they for future use

    Because cutouts, especially electric ones...have the 110% tendency to fail over time.

    Hence why I've never liked cutouts...unless you never drive the car other in perfect weather year round...and being in Canada, or Illinois...I wouldn't exactly call that perfect.

    Uncle has electric cutout and he has weather proofed it, has ha it for 3 years and is on year round, everyone has their own experiences i have a manual cutout but im gunna change it
