My dad has a 08 GXP and bought the Hogan downpipe. Its the 400 series stainless and there are a few complaints about there downpipes have a ticking sound. His does tick a little bit at start up but after it warms up it goes away. He says the butt dyno can feel a difference from it.
current mods: DIY FWI, res & u-bend delete, SD headers mated with custom 3in downpipe, 2.5in catback with turbomax muffler, autolite 104s, 180 t-stat, poly mounts, can tune, 3.4 mps
soon to be mods: NIC cam, possibly dna springs

The ticking is either from an exhaust leak or the flex...Try resealing it with some copper RTV or wrapping the flex in header wrap...tips fer yer old man

One more thing, if i would install the downpipe i would just have to weld it up tothe exhaust (obviously) and is there any other mods that i would have to do to the car or just put the DP on and good to go?

I recently put the Hogan DP9S(catless)on my GXP along with Magnaflow Catback.. The dp bolted right in. The catback on the other hand needed some additional bends to allow proper fit. I wrapped the DP and the Resonator section with DEI Titainium wrap. My interior is actually more quiet than when I ran universal magnaflows with tips. The drone before was unbelievable!

    Also, don't forget gaskets
THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!
