    Hello guys,

i have an 08' Pontiac Grand Prix GXP i want to install a air intake but i can't seem to find the product that i want. I'm looking to install a metal tube that connects from my intake the the filter i called K&N they said they only manufacture the hard plastic, but they sell the chrome finish plastic tube. Does anyone know where i can find a metal tube intake?? this is what it looks like.
K&N Air Intakes - Guaranteed Horsepower
its the 63 series filter kit

Also what is a good brand for a Throttle Body spacer? i was looking at the Typhoons???

---If someone could please help me out point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

    Thanks!!!

Cold Air Induction System for Grand Prix GXP - 04UNDER - PFYC.com

Next best thing is an aluminum box that your filter sits in. Nothing comes to mind right away for metal tube intakes (maybe AEM does that?)

As for throttle body spacers, pretty sure they're useless.

sure you can buy an intake that costs a crap ton of money or just make your own for like 40 bucks and have it work better than the uber $$$ one.

and yes TB spacers are just another reason to have a coolant leak and or vacuum leak. They are stupid mod, so dont do it.

I used a 45* 4" piece from Spectre.. Also got their reducers. I have a CAI cold air box which houses my mass air sensor and filter. Works well, also have Vector heat soak kit which might be over kill but it allowed me to install ait sensor in filter. If I get a chance I'll take pics tomorrow to show how it all looks..

    Huh?

It comes ready to install...all you do is remove the factory stuff and put that in...you don't have to drill anything for any sensor...hence why I linked you to the one for the LS4.

So...just go to an exhaust shop with your piece of plastic tubing and have them cut you a piece of pipe that fits it...or a metal shop could come up with something...or some dryer duct tubing...idk...plastic...aluminum...it's all gonna get heatsoaked in a WBody engine bay...I wouldn't waste my time...just buy the intake and put it on.
