I made the mistake of getting Goodyear F1 Supercar for the front set of my GP GXP in Oct. I drove on them thruout the winter and on a 3,000mil vacation to Florida. I came back and just happen to look at my front tires and see that the center tread is worn out. I do not do any burnouts so I figured it was a defect in the tires. I tried to get them replaced under warranty just to find out there is no tread warranty on my tires.

I paid just under $300 for these tires back in Oct. They are giving me the option to replace them with Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 tires for $240 witch includes a $185 credit for my old Goodyears. My luck there will be additional charges that I am not aware of. What do you all think???? I will try to post pics of the goodyears when I get a chance.

    Thanks,

A buddy of mine works for Discount Tire and said the Goodyear Eagle F1's have cupping issues. Not sure if this is related to that or not. I would check with Goodyear and see if there are any issues with this particular tire. I have Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric's up front but have no issues...so far.

That recall was for the A/S tires not the supercar tires. I'd say overinflated all day long, what did you run them at? If they say Max 45psi it does not mean you're supposed to run them at 45psi.
