Re: Good MPG
brakes shouldnt have to be replaced for a LONG TIME, but looking around here, the rotors are over $100 and the pads are just about 100 as well.
But still, they're expensive.
As is rubber, but not that bad I would think.
I'll bet the interior is just plain awesome in comparison haha.

Re: Good MPG
Probably getting away from the subject of this thread, but I do like the interior very much.

Re: Good MPG
I definitely wouldnt say there are no down sides, the dash on the gxp's are cheap and will make alot of popping and crackling noises(but yes I think the interior looks good). Tires are a pain since you cant rotate, and if your getting 25 mpg in the city you must be pushing the car from behind while it is idling through the city:th_laugh-lol3:......its about time for some new tires for me though, I will get a vid soon of me roasting whats left of these off.

Re: Good MPG
Just to clarify, I'm getting an average 25 mpg. And I do understand that tires and brakes are going to add $200 a year. But its reliable, a hot-rod when I step on the gas, and a fairly economical family car when the car seats are in the back. I guess it's all in one's perspective. Compare the performance and fuel ecomomy to Maxima and Camry.

Re: Good MPG
except a good bit faster than a maxima overall.:th_nanana: I do love my car I wasnt saying that I didnt.....but was just saying that there are a couple of irritating things about it.

Re: Good MPG
That's fair. I guess when I stated that it had "no down side", I implied that the car was perfect. It isn't. But I have a family, and am still young at heart, so the car was ideal for my situation.

Re: Good MPG
Well since we are talking about GXP and the gas milage my mom and I both just ran our cars through the same trip at the same time and and I had gotten a bit better gas milage than her. She drives an 07 GT 3.8 supercharged while mine is a 2007 GXP no mods to air flow or anything aside from that she recently just had her mufflers replaced so she would be louder than me. I must admit though i'm a bit jealous of them.
So does any one have any clue why mine would be a bit more effeciant than hers. BTW both of us run premium fuel

Re: Good MPG
Your car has active fuel management cutting it down to 4 cylinders at a cruise, like I said ive been very happy with the fuel economy of our cars.
