wouldn't make sense to go LS4, not alot of mods (see complaints from the gxp guys on here)
also, can you explain to me what "all motor" or "real motor" means?

im a dumbass?? you know more about cars than me?? from what ive seen all you know is how to rice out a poor grand prix with some 20$ paint job and talk smack on the forums. go troll somewhere else kid
All motor means a car with no boost(N/A pretty much means the same thing) . An im a ricer but yet i have a american made car with AMERICAN RACING RIMS with a American Themed Paint Scheme. My favorite kind of cars are AMERICAN MUSCLE an im plannin on gettin a WS6 next year but yet im a ricer?? That must be one of the craziest ricers ive ever heard of then. Did the 04 gto's have have LS2's in them?? I dnt know what other cars have LS2's....
When they say ricer its more to do with your paint scheme and such things as the tornado intake insert and what not Plus every one that has issue with the way you type and talk and act on here will always give you sh!t but You feed into it with long drawn out responses
You have called out many people about money and time they have put into there cars when in reality you have know clue what has been done to them in regaurds to money
Unless you like the internet toughguy thing and arguing about bs all the time keep responces and topics related to the cars and performance and such
Just a thought though
Off topic, your Monte? What Year? My dad owned several of that body style when they were new... 73, 74, 75, 76, and 77 all with those deep dish Cragars like you have pictured there. Kinda makes me wonder if thats one of his old cars, he lived between Iowa and Nebraska at that time. And I noticed your in IA by your screen name. Never know, LOL....
I can agree about the only reason they keep talkin trash is because i respond but the money thing somebody brought up in one of my post sayin I work at mcdonalds an i have a cheap paint job an my car isnt worth crap an i have cheap audio An i dnt know if u read the first post then the ones posted after that or just my post but every single post i make its strictly dealing with cars not bringing down anybody cars or sayiin how ugly they are. It always starts with some1 talkin trash to me about somethin off the topic or on the topic but adds a smart a$$ comment in with it. Hell look in my other post youll c all my post ALWAYS start off strictly about the original post until some1 starts runnin off at the mouth
An at turbo trav thats old school muscle cars have cars with alotta rubber BUT nowadays you will never find a sports car with nothin smaller than 18''s on them maybe every now and then u might find 17''s but like mostly all car companys can agree bigger wheels give off a sportier look when it comes to sport cars. (not sayin no 22''s or anything bigger make a car sportier just goin up to 20''s at the biggest to me)
Moving this to the CORRECT section. If everyone (And I mean everyone INCLUDING the OP) can not play nice, this thread will join his last one.
Just turbo yours.
N/A builds are too expensive for the small amounts of power you make and the LS4 isn't worth the work or money you'd put into it.
Top Swap's are a grand or so depending on how much money you put into it. Turbo builds can touch 10 grand with extensive work but make LOTS of power.
If you aren't willing to take people's advice then don't ask. QuikGT knows more than most people on here about these cars. Then you say he was bashing you. Seemed like a great answer to your question. If you can't handle contructive criticism I don't know what to tell you.
Yea it should work both ways if u cant take it dont dish it out. U shouldnt down somebodys ride and say theyre stupid an such an then expect them to respond back nicely an respectfully an say thanks for the help. The LS4 conversion was just an idea i heard of i figured if i can find a LS4 motor, tranny, an so on for a real good deal it would be worth trying but the gtp motor and trannys i know are a hell of alot cheaper. I like being different i like power but im not strictly trying the conversion just for power. It can make it faster i know but it is also very different compared to everything else out there that ppl have done to their gps an from the car shows ive been too i noticed being different stands out alot an can help u at car shows. If I did the LS4 conversion with no additional mods could i hit 13's in the 1/4?? I know the gxps an ss run low 14's in the 1/4 but i heard the older model gps are a lil lighter.
sausage did you not see what i wrote? the car runs extremely hot, and you need to rewire you're whole car to accept the motor and trans. you want cheap and easy 13's go nitrous
this isnt apollo 13 stop trying to put the square peg in the round hole.

Sausage?? Thats a new 1 u might be a fat kid lol.... I know about the rewire part thats y i said an such after the motor an tranny. I know this guy that has a uncle with a newer wrecked impala SS that was totaled from behind so mostly everythiing up under the hood is still attached an in working order figured he could prolly hook me up with a pretty good deal. But i called around an found this shop and guy the specializes in gps an said for a full gtp motor an tranny swap an other minor parts they could do it for around $2500 but i havent checked up on the turbo part that might cost more than both i think.
Here's my $0.02 on some of the issues as a proud GXP owner:
1) The LS4 cars are still relatively new and there was a limited production run with not a lot of parts common with other vehicles. That makes modding them expensive. I would think when they get cheaper more parts will come. Parts are still being designed for Ford Flatheads.
2) The big advantages of a GXP are that it handles great and that it sounds great IMO, not that you get a ton more power. In a straight line, I don't notice that much difference between this car and my old Buick Ultra with an overdriven SC.
3) The GXP and all other GPs have almost nothing in common electrically. Guys that swap LS4s into Fiero's generally use the entire GXP harness and all it's controllers.
4) The GXP has a one off 4T65. It's bellhousing is common with other LS4's (starter mounts to the tranny) and it has the same valve body as the Comp 1 tapshifts do. There are only 14,000 cores in the world (for the 14,000 cars built...).
Like everyone else said, as far as E.T. per $ goes, forget it. Stick with the 3800, it's not even close. Boost is the replacement for displacement. From another angle, if E.T. is your only goal, you should really go with something rear-drive anyway, because you can't beat the physics. IMO, if you really want an LS4 buy a GXP and recognize that you already have $1000 in tires and $1000 in brakes already on the car, with Bilstein shocks and a road-course tuned suspension.
Thanks man that did help out alot. It doesnt seem like its worth all the money now that u said that i should just stick with boost an save the V8 motor for my next car. I might just get the full gtp motor and tranny swap in this car. The Gxps seem like therye more suited for a all around great car rather than somethin that mainly turning towards power but it was just a idea that i had thought of.... An at bio the 2500 was for everything includin motor, tranny, labor, oil and other odds an ends. If u meant just labor the guy said he could put in the motor and tranny for 700$
TEP tranny = $1500
Top swap= $500
Supporting mods for top swap= $500+
Theres $2500 in parts for a better setup than an L67
