I have never herd or seen of a black bear tune on any GXP forums.

Ok. Also will any 255/50 18 size tire fit the rears? I thought I had read that there was something different about the gxps tires or something.
Here is the deal with factory tires/wheels on the GXP. Front Wheels are 18x8 inches wide
Rear Wheels are 18x7 inches wide. Front tires are 255/45/18 and the rears are 225/50/18
Thanks. Ok well I guess its not even going to matter now because my mom doesn't want me to get the gxp because she thinks I can get a v6 with less miles and newer for about the same price. Which you can but there was a point to getting the gxp.. Oh well. Thanks for all you guys help on this.
tell your mom is like buying a 69 camaro ss/rs is gonna be a rare and special car that you will be proud to take care of and will be worth something to you and her future grandchildren
Well technically I'm not. My parents payed for my truck when I got it 2 years ago, so they are really paying for most of it.. But I drove a gt last night in traffic and the city instead of country and open highway like I did with the gxp and decided I would rather have an suv if I can't get a gxp. Yeah there are several kids at my hs that have bmw's, one land rover, lots of new cobalts.. And my cousin got a 3 month old loaded tahoe when he graduated hs, then got another newer one in college and just graduated college and is getting a new silverado 2500 hd diesel loaded. So a gxp wouldn't be that huge, at my hs at least, but still very cool. So its really just between explorers and trailblazers now unless I can find another gxp with fewer miles..
Oh and btw I am a very responsible 'kid' and wouldn't be stupid with it and get myself killed like other kids I've known..
But I am paying for the difference which still might be up to 4k or 5k..
Blackbear? Never heard of it...
You don't want a SUV, trust me. In the time it takes you to haul one load in a SUV you could have done the same amount, just in 3 trips because the GXP is that much faster
Ok I just found two more gxps both 06's one has 50,000 miles and onehas 78. The one with 78000 had a new transmission and brakes and tires and other things put on it within the last couple months and has a dealer warrenty on the transmission and everything. I haven't looked at either but would the one with the new transmission be alright? With either one I'll have to talk my mom into just looking at em and she didn't like that it already had to have a new transmission.
Watch the new transmission one...that just means the last guy who owned it probably beat the living god out of it.
I was car shopping and saw a GXP and fell in love with it. You just have to be patient and shop around. I live in New Jersey where everything is expensive and got an 06 GXP with 35,000 miles for $12,500. By far the best car I have ever owned.
