Any tips on replacing valve cover gaskets?

This Saturday I am doing plugs, wires, and valve cover gaskets. I done lot's of 3.8 but this is my first LS4. I assume the trick of rocking the motor works. I did a search and found this guy doing an Impala. How to Change Valve Cover Gasket Chevy Impala 2006-2016 - YouTube
Looks like there not much difference. It showed me where to separate the wire harness from the coil pack. I guess for the back you don't have to remove alternator. He did not show how he remove the studs for the coil brackets. He pointed to the holes. Any tricks on those or just fight through it? Any other lessons learned the hard way that you would like to share?
The car is an 07 GXP with about 170,000 miles. There was about 45,000 when I bought it. I don't remember when, I guess I could go back through the GXP owners and see when I add my name to it. :-)

I was going to edit my post, but I don't see where. I found a different video on a truck. I see now the studs are from the top. Watching the video I thought you reach down through the holes.

Got it done, pretty much went as the video showed. I guess you can not rock it forwarded, but with the valve covers off it was not hard to get to.
