My pump is getting noisy. Any advice on what brand or type to buy. Rebuilt vs. new? I definately don't want noisy garbage as I am keeping the car. Thanks.

I have not replaced mine yet, it is still fairly quiet. Heard about the horror stories from remanufactured units, so for me when I replace it there will only be one choice and use a factory new pump.

Thanks for your opinion. I have heard about noisy rebuilt pumps also. And some were ac delco rebuilds! Everytime I use a rebuilt part it is always crap.

LMAO. It would be nice if they made a supercharger for the LS4!
