Just clear the codes first did you ever unhook that battery?
I cleared them. But they come back as soon as i try to start it.
Ive double checked that everything is plugged in. And all the wires look good. I also left the battery unhooked for 20+ minutes several times.
I just realized texas speed sent me a 4x timing gear, and i put it on. Im pretty sure thats why it wont start. On the bright side though my throttle body works.
I got the cam gear swapped out with the stock gear.I got everything put back together and the car fired right up. Its late so i only ran it for about a minute, but everything looks good.

Congratulations man! It's a good day when your project fires up.
...Waiting for burnouts...
that thing sounds beastly, and for the record, I had my speakers set to 10 out of 100 and that was sufficient.
It will be nice to see how it sounds with the 3" exhaust on there. my neighbors are gonna hate me.
I tried to get a better video to capture the lope of the cam. The audio is a little better, but still kinda choppy.

You set preload correct?
Yep, preload is set. Once everything was all oiled up it was nice and quiet, no chatter.
Glad. It all worked out for you man. You'll love everything thing but the gas mileage lol
Finally after about a year and a half, the Grand Prix was able to get out of the garage. It was just nice enough that I was able to wash it. All I have left to do before I can drive it is install the TEP trans cooler, and get the new 3" exhaust mounted.

looks nice, i'm excited for you.
I got the new wheels and tires put on the car. I went with hankook ventus v12 evo 2's. I put 255/45r18 all the way around. I love the look of the new wheels, and the fitment is perfect.

I Tried to take the car for a quick trip down the road, but couldnt make it out of the driveway thanks to the snow. I managed to get my trans cooler installed as well.
