With a good resonator, they should be alright.

It'll still might sound like a helicopter if the DoD/AFM is still active. I have a dynomax muffler on my silverado with the 5.3 and DoD/AFM still working and I don't hear it much at all. Other say the dynomax sound good on these cars too.

    It's different with 8 cylinders...they don't sound as bad.

Go with Borla, Corsa, Dynomax, SLP...etc.

Keep the resonator, get a catless downpipe. That'll give you all the sound you need. As for the tune...get that and the trans cooler first and foremost. They're worth their weight in gold compared to making it louder. If you have exhaust and the DoD kicks in, you'll wish you hadn't when it sounds like a lawn mower.

I have the 44 series on my GP and the drone was bad untill I put my headers, 3in DP n Cat delete. Now it just sounds super aggressive on throttle and much quieter on cruising speeds

    It's a 3800.

    Were talking LS4.

Flowmasters sound awful on a 3800. This is not any new news.
