Well I am loading about 2 quarts of oil about every oil change. The last time I changed my spark plugs two of them in the back had oil on them. Does anyone think I need to replace just the valve gasket or the gasket and cover? I have read there was a problem with the stock valve cover.

To go along with your other threads, this is a DoD issue.

The cylinders that shut down in 4 cylinder mode have oil getting past them and it's burning off. It's a very common issue with the 5.3 LS4 in those vehicles.
