Ok, so this might be a stupid question but I had to ask anyway. I have been reading about the 180 degree thermostats a bit. I am just curious if anyone knows how installing one would affect the factory warranty on the motor.

I am running a 160 in my gxp for two years now, I dont know about warranty, but to give you a heads up your check engine light will pop on for a day or so like mine did, has not been on after that.

It wont void any warranty. It will keep the motor cooler... but your fans are set to come on when it gets a lot hotter.......

apparently you can throw a code for running a 160 on the GXP's as well. with a simple tune you would be able to delete the code for good...so it wont keep popping back up...

Wellthe O7 year was the most limited, so i think most companys just forgot about us. But as far as i have seen no changes were made during the production run, except wheels.
