aeroforce aint cheap, but that stays in a gauge pod in the car and can scan all sorts of live data kr included.

the t app is less than 20 bucks if you own a droid phone or tablet. it reads more live data than you'll know wtf to do with lol

the dhp. the way you tune is to run a scan log aka scan. save it review it and make changes to the bin file as needed. it reads every thing the other two read but its more accurate. easy to save it, open it, use it to tune with.

I might just do that, just wantin to know a little more about em... I'm just kinda nervous since none of the major websites sell em that big, they near the ceiling of safe range for the ratio or something? What kind of gain do they have over the 1.9's?

I really appreciate all the help btw

not sure if theres much more of a gain, but i got em on my car. yt 1.95's oddly enough i got em from the same guy who i posted up there.

they do need a washer under the pedestal and different push rods.

when i first put them on i was all stock still. (im still pretty stock lol) they cleared up 5* kr right off the bat, no tuning. i had 8*.

Do the 1.9s need anything extra aside from springs?

Are the rockers a noticeable gain in power/acceleration? or is it an "it feels faster ... I think" sort of thing?

Wow you have a xp cam ported heads and fsic and your kr rises if you go lower? Injectors are the same? Or you upgraded? Im running 2.8 no knock with the same cam headers and a gen v with ported heads..can't understand that one

I have no idea what's wrong with it. I haven't been able to find a vac leak. did have an exhaust leak that is fixed now. I'm on 42 lb injectors and a northstar tb/maf. I'm planning a swap to 130 lb springs in the next couple months, so we will see what difference that makes. doing a double roller timing chain and a bigger harmonic balancer in the next month.

I understand. no offense taken. I am in the process of a custom turbo build, so I'm not real concerned about the big pulley.

with that build you have, a phenolic intercooler would support a 2.6 pulley. I have a 2.6 and the snout machining tool and I would let them go pretty cheap. pm me if you are interested.

the phenolic works really well as far as I can tell. I put a temp gauge in the front mount heat exchanger, and it is stays at the lowest temp the sensor is calibrated for, 68 degrees F. I'm trying to decide if I care enough to know what the actual coolant temp is to buy an aeroforce coolant temp sensor kit, or just go with an air temp sensor in the lower intake manifold.

Im pretty sure i can drop to a 2.55 with tuning and that phenolic intercooler.. Along with the e85 that i have.. Im currently am on a 3.0 right now went up a size.. Id rather get the timing upped on in then to rag on it with 2.8.. If you ever think about selling the IC.. Im your guy lol
