So I plan on doing both eventually with a intercooler setup. . . however, I only have such much $$ to do one upgrade at a time, so my question is which upgrade would be better for lowering KR and increasing performance? I am leaning towards rockers (1:9) just for ease of install.

Do headers first. The 1.9's won't have much flow benefit through stock manifolds.

rockers killed off 5* of KR on my car. a simple u bend delete took the other 3* of KR away.

Rockers give benefit, even on stock manifolds. But they'll give a bigger benefit with headers. Just a logical progression.

rockers, headers and a 3.4 is a nice bump over stock. thats for sure.

Thanks guys, looks like headers/downpipe are gonna be the next upgrade. Is it safe to say that the ZZP headers are good or are there other recommendations?

ZZP's would be the top "grade" of headers. Least amount of issues, no extra parts to buy, no denting the firewall.

Do you think they're worth the extra money?

Do the speed daddy headers. You have an 05? On my 04 the fit wasn't that bad. And it took my knock from like 5+ stock, to 0-1. When I added a 3.5 it went back to about 2-3, but the power increase was worth it.

Do the headers then down the line, do your lim (if you need it) and throw some VC gaskets and rockers/springs on it.

Any quality/fit complaints on the speed daddy headers? I was leaning towards the ZZP headers, but saving $400 is hard to look past.

I didn't like how the downpipe dipped down, some people say its fine, but I cut the flex section out and welded in a shorter flex section to fix it. also, your front o2 sensor wire harness will need to be lengthened. the clamps that come with the speed daddy headers sometimes leak, so try them out and if they dont leak then thats a good deal, otherwise you can pick up a band style clamp that should fix the leak.
