What's the difference. Honestly I don't get why the one is so much more expensive!

I would go with the cheaper one lol

This probably explains the difference but I don't feel like reading it.

You should to be able to get either at your local Wal-Mart for $26.

"Extended Performance" I believe just means that the oil lasts longer between change intervals.

The difference in price is the Prime membership.
All the Mobil 1s are about the same price at walmart

Yea just grab a jug of choice from Walmart no need to order oil when it's easily available locally and for a cheaper price.

This, oil is one of those things its cheaper to buy local. Filters you probably could buy bulk online for a deal maybe.

Extended performance is 15,000 mile oil. I'm very very surprised it's cheaper than the regular synthetic Mobil 1. The regular Mobil 1 synthetic is $26 dollars at Wal-Mart so I would get the extended performance for the same price on Amazon.

Damn thanks for posting that cause I can now buy better extended Mobil 1 oil for the same price instead of regular full synthetic lol.

You'd be retarded to even go 15k on an oil change, you would have to change the filter like 3 times in that time frame.

And by that time in a 3800, the oil has broken down far too much.

The car dealer said 8k...don't think so. What do you all think for mileage & time frames?

im a cheap oil and every 3,000 miles. new engines got 1,000 miles on it by now and its still golden looking. love that part of a clean engine so far.
