Supercharger not whining

I have a 2002 gtp and the supercharger isn't whining like I thought it would.. It's just making a sucking sound, like vaccuum rather. My boost guage is working (I don't know if its correct or not) but I was wondering why im hearing so much vaccuum. I can get a Video to show what I mean.

It makes the sound you're hearing only at idle. When you floor it , that's when you will hear the whine

Maybe you can't hear it whining because it has nothing to complain about?

All I did to my GTP was slap on an open cone filter and now I can really hear the whine. Here's a vid.

Probably because it has a vacuum leak.

He said he has boost. What would you recommend to someone with stock car who wants to hear the sc whine?

Video would really be helpful. One of idle and driving and a few pulls. Mod list would be usefull too.

Never heard of it till now. That movie looks creepy. Used to love demonic possession type movies. Now, since I've been married,... they freak me out and I can't watch them. They seem a lot more real for some reason...

That is what I want mine to sound like! But all I hear is vaccuum only when I get onto it though.
